The Eglin AFB Project recently contracted Big Top Manufacturing to provide shelters to protect their aircraft and their maintenance crew from the sun and weather. The project includes a total of 50 shelters which is almost enough for every aircraft to have its own shelter. These shelters make life much more comfortable for aircraft maintenance crew and boost productivity.

The sun heats up the surfaces of the aircraft making the aircraft unbearable to touch for the maintenance crew, but the Big Top shelters provide protection from the sun reducing the heat absorbed by the aircraft by nearly 20 degrees. The shelters also provide protection from the rain which over time ruins the aircrafts' paint jobs and the test equipment used to repair the aircraft.

From protecting the aircraft from the sun and rain to boosting productivity, Big Top shelters are essential for the aircraft industry.
